For these purposes EuroChem have been carrying out own infrastructure development projects. This line of activity is one of the company's priorities in the short term.
To provide stable supply of raw materials to the enterprises and products supply to the customers the company has purchased specialized railcar fleet and leased locomotives, not to mention investment in the development of main and spur tracks.
EuroChem have been investing into purchasing and construction of special-purpose facilities for mineral fertilizers transshipment in Russia, since the lack of these capacities duplicates the cost of fertilizer transshipment and requires much more time. For these purposes the company has bought a stake in the specialized terminal in the port of Murmansk and is planning to develop transshipment facilities in the Black and Baltic Sea.
