Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on 05.11.2008

On 05 November 2008 the Open Joint Stock Company “Mineral and Chemical Company “EuroChem”, held its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM). The meeting was attended by shareholders who were registered as of 16 October 2008 and who represented 100% of the Company's stock.

The EuroChem EGM ruled to pay dividends based on 9 months 2008 results in the amount of 50 rubles and 50 kopecks per one common registered share. Considering paid interim dividends for 1Q2008 and 1H2008, EuroChem shall pay dividends in the amount of 136 rubles and 68 kopecks per one common registered share. Thus the total payment made by MCC EuroChem, OJSC to its shareholders based on 9 months 2008 results will be RUR 3,434,000,000. The payment period for the announced dividends shall be no more than 60 days from the date of the decision.
