EuroChem, FAS reach agreement on apatite supplies from Kovdor

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS) and OJSC MCC EuroChem are reported to have reached an agreement on 16 January 2009 on the rules for non-discriminatory access to apatite concentrate produced by EuroChem group member OJSC Kovdorsky GOK. In future, OJSC Kovdorsky GOK will make available to companies that do not form a part of the EuroChem group a minimum of 200,000 tonnes/year of apatite concentrate. This agreement was reached within the framework of the ruling issued by FAS in October 2008. As a result of the agreement, FAS will not have any claims against OJSC MCC EuroChem and OJSC Kovdorsky GOK under the country's anti-monopoly regulations.
