EuroChem launches production of granulated carbamide

Russian mineral fertilizer producer EuroChem has launched a facility to produce granulated carbamide at its Tula Region-based subsidiary Azot, EuroChem said in a statement on Monday.

The reconstruction and launch of the facility is a part of a 2.5 billion project to produce granulated carbamide in Russia.

Granulated carbamide is a mineral fertilizer in demand in Western Europe and North America, the company said.
