Methanol
Methanol (СН3ОН) is produced by a catalytic synthesis from the carbon and hydrogen oxides, and is used for the organic synthesis processes. Methanol is a toxic liquid. Methanol of grade A is used for the main organic synthesis processes and export deliveries.

Methanol is transported in the special rail tank cars, tank lorries, steel barrels with the capacity of 200 dm3, according to the transportation rules acting on the given type of transport.
The warranty period of storage of technical methanol is 6 months from the manufacturing date.
ACITEC ACID (SYNTHETIC)
Acetic acid (СН3СООН) is produced by a method of carbonization from methanol and carbonic oxide on a rhodium catalyst. It is used in the production of salts and ethers, acetic anhydride, acetyl chloride, coloring agents, insecticides, as a dissolvent of varnishes and paints, and also as a coagulant of latex. Acetic acid is an inflammable liquid.

Acetic acid solutions with a level of the concentration 30 % and higher can provoke burns at contact with skin. Its vapors irritate the mucous membranes of the anatomical airway.
Acetic acid is transported in clear rail tank cars with the inner surface from stainless steel with the overhead drainage, in stainless barrels with the capacity up to 200 dm3, in glass bottles with the capacity up to 20 dm3, and also in aluminum barrels with the capacity up to 275 dm3. Barrels and bottles with acetic acid are transported by railway, car and water transport, according to the transportation rules of the hazardous materials, acting on the corresponding types of transport. The warranty period of storage is 1 year from the manufacturing date of the product.
TECHNICAL BUTYL ACETATE
Technical butyl acetate (normal butyl ether of acetic acid С6Н12О2) is obtained by etherification of acetic acid by butyl alcohol, intended for the use as a dissolvent in the different branches of industry, and also for the synthesis of chemicals. Butyl acetate is a inflammable liquid having a subtle narcotic effect.

POLYVINYL ALCOHOL
Polyvinyl alcohol is used (according to their grades):
- As a stabilizer during the suspension polymerization of styrene and at the manufacturing a copolymer dispersion on the basis of acetaldehyde (18/11);
- For dressing fibers and yarn from natural, synthetic fibers (18/11,16/1);
- As an emulsifying agent for the emulsions preparation at a peroxide bleaching of cotton sewing stitchings (18/11, 16/1);
- As additives in a chalky suspension (16/1, 16/05);
- As an impregnating material at the oil-insoluble strong semitransparent paper (18/11) manufacturing;
- As cementing material at the ceramics fine forming powders and casting core sand(16/1, B1, B2) manufacturing;
- For synthesis of polyvinyl acetals as an emulsifying agent and a stabilizer at an emulsion polymerization of acetaldehyde and other monomers (16/1);
- In the production of glues, both in the pure state and in the mixture with fillers for gluing leathers, cloths, papers, and for gluing labels (16/1, А1, А2);
- As a reagent-reducer of filter loss at fastening oil and gas wells (B 1N, А1, А2);
- In the textile industry as a dressing tool (SHL);
- As a stabilizer at the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride (35/23, 8/27);
- As additives at the reception of dispersion, as binders at manufacturing sand blends, as additives in cement and grouting mortars, as glues (R, R1).

PVS (А1, А2, B1, B2) is polyvinyl alcohol for water solutions. PVS (R1, R2) is water solutions of polyvinyl alcohol. Polyvinyl alcohol is packed into three -, four-layer paper sacks with a polyethylene insert sack according to the specifications and technical documentation.
As agreed with the customer it is allowed packing of polyvinyl alcohol into steel barrels for chemicals with the capacity from 10 up to 250 dm3 or soft containers of one-trip use such as MKR-1.0 with an insert sack and such as MKR-1.0М according to the specifications and technical documentation.
Polyvinyl alcohol is transported by any kind of transports, in the covered vehicles according to the transportation rules acting on the corresponding type of transports.
ACETALDEHYDE
Acetaldehyde (acetic aldehyde) СН3СНО is produced by hydration of acetylene, and used in the production of acetic anhydride, acetic acid, aldehydic synthetic resins, pentaerythritol, 2-ethylhexyl alcohol and other products. Aldehyde acetic is an inflammable liquid, and easily oxidized by air oxygen.

Vinylacetate-rectificate is a product of a vapor-phase reaction of acetylene and acetic acid, and it is used for the production of polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetals and also for copolymers with vinyl chloride, ethylene and other unsaturated compounds. Acetaldehyde is an inflammable liquid and explosive agent.

Vinylacetate-rectificate is transported by railway or car tanks. Transportation in aluminum barrels is allowed. Barrels are transported by railway, car and water transport. At rail transportations the product is transported by less than carload in the boxcars.
Acetic acid, acetic aldehyde and acetone included into acetaldehyde as impurities have an irritating effect, provoking the irritation of the mucous membranes of eyes and the upper air passages. The warranty period of storage is 3 months since the manufacturing day of the product.
METHYL ACETATE
Methyl acetate (C3Н6O2) is used for the use in the laboratory conditions as a clear reagent, and as a solvent - in the organic synthesis. It is transparent liquid, water soluble. It is mixed up with alcohol and ether in any ratio. It is a toxic substance.

PAINT AND VARNISH REMOVER
Paint and varnish remover (solvent) A and B represent a methyl acetate fraction, a by-product of the polyvinyl alcohol’s production. A-1, B-grades solvent represents a product consisting of acetic aldehyde, acetone, methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, h- butyl alcohol, methanol. Varnish and paint remover (solvent) is a toxic and combustible liquid. The solvent is used for diluting oil, nitrocellulose enamel and varnishes up to the working consistency. The solvent should be added to paintwork material in small portions at a constant stirring before obtaining of the necessary consistency.
The solvent for varnishes and paints of A, A-grades is used in the industry, and B, B-1 grades - for retail trade.
