ARGON
Gas and liquid argon is used as a protective medium at welding, cutting, melting of active and rare metals and alloys on their basis, aluminum, aluminum and magnesium alloys, rustproof nickel-chromium alloys: high-temperature alloys and steels of various grades, and also at refinement of metals in the metallurgy branch.
It is produced by low temperature rectifications of residual gases of the production of ammonia.

Remarks:
1. Volume fraction of the sum of carbonaceous compounds is not standardized in gas and liquid argon produced from air, if electrolytic hydrogen is used for sanitation of crude argon, free of impurities of carbonaceous compounds and alkali, and also hydrogen of coke-oven gas and the synthesis of gas, which specially goes through the additional clearing on the ammoniac productions.
2. Rates for a liquid argon meet to the factors of a gas argon produced at full evaporation of a liquid argon test.
3. Quality indicators of a liquid argon should match to the rates which have been mentioned above, under a condition of decrease of quantity of a liquid argon due to its evaporation at transportation and storage no more than, than 10 % from the shipped argon.
Argon is non-toxic and inexplosive substance.
Liquid argon is a low-boiling liquid and it can cause frostbite of skin and damage of the mucous membrane of eye.

Solid carbon dioxide can cause freezing injury of skin and affect the mucous membrane of eye. It is prohibited to take the substance by the unprotected arm. The product is packed into the clear isothermal containers or other isothermal containers. It is transported by all types of transports, according to the transportation rules acting on the given type of transport.
GAS AND LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE
Gas and liquid carbon dioxide (СО2) is colorless gas or colorless liquid, with slightly sourish odor and taste. It is produced by a technical method. Carbon dioxide of all types is used for the creation of protective atmosphere at welding metals; for the food purposes in the production of carbonated drinks, dry ice, for cooling, freezing, storage of foodstuff at direct and indirect contact with it, for drying iron moulds, for fire-fighting and other purposes in all industries. It is non-toxic and nonexplosive substance.
